The summit of Mount Erie near Anacortes, Washington offers expansive views on all sides of the mountain. Northeast of the mountain, Mount Baker can easily be seen between the trees. On a clear day, Mount Rainier can be seen in the southeast. These panoramic views of ocean and mountain ranges are easily one of the best on Fidalgo Island and provide the perfect location for watching the sunset.
The summit is accessible via a single-lane, paved road or via a hiking trail that starts at the base of the mountain.
