Paleo Tropical Sunrise Smoothie

Paleo Tropical Sunrise Orange, Mango, Banana, Strawberry Smoothie Recipe -

Apparently there are people who stop eating when they are full. I'm not one of them. I made this smoothie before lunch, when I was hangry (being hungry = angry, therefore, hangry). Of course when I'm hangry, my mind wants to eat and destroy everything at the same time. Well, as is always the case, I was hungrier than I thought and made too much smoothie. Then I didn't want to waste what was left, so down the tummy everything went and now I feel like Violet Beauregarde when she bloats into a blueberry in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. For your sake, I halved this smoothie recipe to make one serving.


Ingredients 1

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 3/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1/4 cup water

Ingredients 2

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • a couple of ice cubes

Blend ingredients 1. Pour half into serving cup. Set aside the rest.

Blend ingredients 2. Set aside half. Pour half of this mixture into the cup that was set aside containing ingredients 1. Mix. This will look orangish-pinkish. SLOWLY pour this mixture into the serving cup containing ONLY ingredients 1 (the yellow-orange mixture).

Take ingredients 2 (the red mixture) that was set aside and SLOWLY pour into the serving cup.

So if you managed to understand those instructions, you get this very asethetically pleasing (and tasty) Tropical Sunrise Smoothie... for one.
