After hours of exploring Tintagel Castle, we took the scenic route to Bath with a stop in old Boscastle and a drive through the Cheddar Gorge. Boscastle is a picturesque fishing village with a harbor dating back to the 1500s. Although seemingly small, the Boscastle harbor handled a large proportion of the trade between Bristol and the south western ports.
After exploring the town and grabbing Cornish Pasties, we continued our journey to Bath through the Cheddar Gorge. We're from the Grand Canyon state (Arizona) and so wanted to see how it compared... |
