Iverson Spit Waterfront Preserve on Camano Island was a random discovery that turned out to be a hiddem gem. The plethora of wild flowers, berries, views of the ocean, the Cascade Mountains and its seclusion quickly made it a summer favorite.
We visited on several occasions, twice bringing Jimmy’s Pizza for a beachside picnic.

He has a thing about climbing on picnic tables.
