Christmastime in Leavenworth, a Quaint Bavarian Whimsy
Just a quick post with a few photos of one of the places we visited to end our 2013: Leavenworth, Washington.
It's a busy little touristy town decked out in Bavarian quaintness. Christmas time is one of the best times to visit when the pass isn't too treacherous --the drive there is surrounded by snow capped mountains, misty rivers, frozen waterfalls and soaring bald eagles during the winter.
