Growing up, one of my favorite places to adventure in was the Jim Creek Naval Community Recreational Area Radio Station. The name is a mouthful but it’s exactly what the name says it is: a Naval Radio Station and regional outdoor recreation facility for military and DoD civilians.
Just outside of Arlington, Washington and nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades, Jim Creek provided a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities when we were kids. My family and I revisited this old stomping ground for a day of kayaking.
Turns out this wet doggy is part fish.
