We don’t often post specifically about accommodations since we’ve stayed in so many wonderful places, but every once in a while a place is unique enough to mention on here.
The grounds of Briar Patch Inn are nestled amongst several wooded and grassy acres just above Oak Creek. The setting is so peaceful and bucolic, it’s easy to forget that the busy, tourist-laden downtown of Sedona is just a couple minutes away.
We spent a couple days in the Eagle Cabin at Briar Patch Inn and used it as our home base for exploring nearby attractions.

The waters were a little to cold for our southern-Arizona bones, but summertime here would be perfect for cooling off.
