Dungeness Spit
Jutting 5.5 miles out of the Olympic Peninsula is a wildlife refuge that also happens to be the longest natural sand spit in the United States. For a small parking fee, visitors traverse a paved half mile trail of beautiful forest that leads out to the ocean.
