Built in 1898, the Copper Queen Hotel is one of Arizona’s longest running hotels. Some guests there have been dead for years.

The Copper Queen Hotel has been featured on Ghost Adventures.
The main reason this hotel attracted us: President Theodore Roosevelt. We stayed in the room named after him.
America’s 26th president. They certainly don’t produce presidents like this one anymore.

An old-fashioned, claw-footed tub. Either this tub is really old, or we had a ghost haunting the shower knobs. There is a little 8-9 year old ghost named Billy known for playing pranks in the hotel. He died by drowning. When I showered, it was just fine. But when Husband took his turn, the hot water knob kept going up and down 3 times like an invisible hand was moving it. Ghostly pranks? Maybe. Old tub? Maybe that too.
The second floor. This entire hotel was very quaint with lots of historical artifacts, pictures and even had a somewhat creepy vibe but that could’ve been from the dimly lit rooms and hallways.

J.A. Jance room. She is a NY Times best selling author who grew up in Bisbee and usually mentions the Copper Queen Hotel in her books. I haven’t read any of her books but I will probably be picking one up soon.
This plant either swings at random moments or is haunted. I was standing a foot away from it taking pictures below when it started swinging. I didn’t bump it, there weren’t any vents near it and the window was closed so… we’re probably making something out of nothing.

Among the celebrities like Johnny Depp and Julia Robert, John Wayne was a frequent guest.

Is that a ghost in the background?
The bulk of our Bisbee stay was spent exploring the town. It’s probably one of the most uniquely built towns we’ve visited considering everything is much built into steep hills. There is a 4 story school where you can enter each floor at ground level. We scoured the stores for political memorabilia and tea cups. Guess who searched for which.

The Bisbee Historical and Mining Museum:

“Operator, get me the police! Someone is urinating in the shower room!”
