Pima Canyon Trail
Last year under one of the brightest full moons, a group of us hiked the Pima Canyon Trail. While it was fairly bright, the dark shadows that were cast everywhere were a little spooky. On Sunday, we decided to do this hike again (during the day this time) since it's fairly close.
Near the trail head, the trip starts by taking you under a bridge.
If you're into bird watching, this is definitely a good trail to hit up. There's a pretty vast array of different foliage and animal life. I wish I had brought my telephoto lens for the birds.
Dead Gila Monster
Leaves! I get really excited when I see real trees. Definitely took those for granted in WA.
Rain clouds coming in.
We're tough! ....boyband tough.
But actually... we turned around because of the rain clouds. I did say boyband tought.
A baby tarantula.
We didn't make it to the dam (I suspect we were half a mile off) but it was a good thing we turned around when we did because it started pouring buckets as soon as we stepped into our home.
