We missed the ocean and wanted to get away from the heat so we hopped in my car and headed for a quick weekend trip to San Diego! Our first stop in San Diego --La Jolla Beach!

It was cold, windy, and foggy but that doesn't stop the surfers from catching waves!

Or the seagulls from looking for scraps.

Or us from taking off our shoes. And wading in the freezing cold water.

Our ultimate destination though is Sea World! So the next morning after breakfast, that was just where we headed!
