Hate crowds but love donuts? Me too. Here’s how to bypass the line that wraps around the corner of the famous Voodoo Doughnut.
Step 1) Don’t go to Voodoo Doughnut in downtown Portland.
Step 2) Drive 6 minutes to NE Davis St and NE Sandy Blvd to Voodoo Doughnut Too.
Ok, ok. This is a silly post. But Voodoo Doughnut is one of those places that has become a symbol of Portland’s “Keep Portland weird” slogan. It IS certainly weird, as are their donut toppings. On our way out of Portland, we made a quick stop at their second location to partake in this Portland oddity.

There was absolutely no line to wait in.

I highly approve of their Kenny Rogers portrait. He is a legend.

Diabetes galore.

We took home the Classic Voodoo Dozen plus a Bacon Maple Bar to share with our families. Did we finish the dozen? To be honest, no one wanted to go into a sugar coma. Was it worth it? We’ll let you find our for yourself but the experience was definitely fun.
