Christmastime at Historic Eatery at the Grant House

Eatery at the Grant House is located in the historic Officers Row in Vancouver, Washington. It was built in 1849 and originally served as a residence for the commanding officer and although Ulysses S. Grant never lived in the house, he did visit on several occasions (as General and as President).

The Airplane Restaurant, a Unique Themed Diner in Colorado Springs

After coming up from Albuquerque to explore the Ludlow Ghost Town, then driving to Colorado Springs, then conquering Sweaty Topless Dude Trail (more commonly known as Manitou Incline), nothing would have been more relaxing than a room serviced dinner at Glen Eyrie Castle. But the castle’s cafe closed at 5 so off we wearily trudged to The Airplane Restaurant.
