Ahhh, the internet. Such a great resource for finding new places to explore… Like the “secret” waterfall in Madera Canyon of Arizona. Just mention the words “waterfall” and “Arizona” and we’re all ears.
To find this secret but not so secret trail, we parked at the Proctor Trail parking area then took to the paved trail for about 200 feet until we reached an unmarked and unpaved trail to the right.

Take the unmarked, unpaved but well trodden trail down….

And voila! The secret but not so-secret “waterfall”! 😆

Clearly we came at the wrong time.

We followed the stream down in hopes of finding a better flow…

Is it back here?

There you have it folks! An Arizona waterfall! 😆

Better luck next time!
